High County Pony Club

The High County Pony Club was reactivated in 1992 after a short dormant period. We have members from different areas including, Belwood, Erin, Fergus, Hillsburgh, Orton, and surrounding areas.

We currently have 12 members. Our branch colours are light blue, medium blue and white. Our branch participates in Quiz, Tetrathlon, PPG, Dressage, Show Jumping, and D Rally. In the past we have participated in Quiz, Dressage and Tetrathlon at the National level.

We meet every other week on Tuesdays during the winter months focusing on education and stable management. We also have mounted meetings twice a month. Once spring and the warmer weather comes, we focus more on riding skills.

You don't need to own a pony/horse to be a member but those who join High County Pony Club without owning/leasing or having available to them a horse/pony will have reduced mounted activities.

Membership fees are $177.00 for the first child and $157.00 for each additional child.

For more information about the High County Pony Club contact our District Commissioner, Darlene Haines at rickhaines@xplornet.com or our Assistant District Commissioner Kevin Kerr at kandhkerr@yahoo.com.
